The license is stored in a software license container that is permanently bound to the computer. It enables maintenance and diagnostics of existing machines and systems and their software. It is intended exclusively for resale to machine and plant operators. The resell license is a single-user license. This license is supported starting with version 4.9. The single-user license allows exactly one user to use Automation Studio at any given time for a period of one year. The Technology Guard is not included in the single-user license (separate order required). This permits multiple users to share the right to use Automation Studio on different workstations by connecting the Technology Guard with the single-user license to the respective workstation computer.
